Count down for Valentine

Just a quick post from sunny Amsterdam. Wow, today was totally awesome. The sun came out quite strongly, the first crocus was blooming. It felt as the first day of spring!

Besides spring coming soon, Valentine's day is upon us. I used to not really care about it, I actually found it too be a commercial trick where most people only care about a card or gift and not the underlying thoughts or feelings associated with it.
After being with W for a couple of years, I totally understand that Valentine's day is very very needed. Men just need a day like this to remind them to direct some extra attention to their girlfriend/wife.

A lot of blogs, folksy, etsy, everywhere on the internet you can find the most wonderful things to make for Valentine. What do you think of these beautiful projects I found on Martha Stewarts' website:
