Gardening

Last week I bought an aubergineplant (eggplant-plant? ;) )at a local store. I was planning on getting it into full ground right away, but I forgot to do so and left it in its pot for a couple of days. That was all fine until yesterday morning, when I went outside and found this:

I found some lice on it, no idea that those little buggers could make such a mess! :(

It did get me up and about to work on the garden a little bit:

I've been doing some sowing, and finally got these nice colorful tags to mark the soon to be plants. I'll be gone for a week or so. There's a cycling event in France to raise money for the Dutch Cancer Foundation and I'm off to try my best and raise as much money as possible. 

Hopefully my friend, who'll be taking care of the garden for that time will treat it better than I do, so that I'll find veggies and what not growing! ;) (Ok, maybe that's a bit wishful thinking, but who knows what a week of TLC can do to a garden!? )
