Red peeptoes

Last weekend I had some tedious chores to do on Saturday, and while cycling around town to get groceries I was drawn by lovely red peeptoes in the window display of one of my favorite shops: Zora Secondhand.
Because the shop was still closed and I had lots of other things to do, I decided a visit to the shop would be a reward after finishing all the tasks on my to-do list.

That afternoon, I first looked around the shop. While going through dresses and skirts, trying lots and lots of them, the shoes kept attracting my attention. I narrowed the number of dresses I wanted to buy to a bare minimum (ok, 4 dresses and 1 skirt, but hey, they're second hand and really affordable!) and by then had almost forgotten about the shoes.

Waiting at the counter I suddenly saw something red from the corner of my eye. Oh my, I really really really wanted to try those lovely red ones on. It must have been my lucky day (or I just happen to have the most common shoesize in Amsterdam), because they fit!!

At home I put them on right away, only to take them off for some great pictures:

I just love them, and, as if I were 10 years old and had just gotten my Christmas presents, I put them on the side table next to my bed when I went to sleep that night...

Waking up to this sight was one of the best mornings ever (I just hope W doesn't read this, in case he does: waking up next to you every morning is off course the most delightful view, but since you were there, and I had the shoes as an extra, it was one of the best... ;) )
